Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Manager to join our team. As the Insurance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the insurance department, ensuring efficient workflow and providing excellent customer service. This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational and administrative skills.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train a team of insurance clerks, providing guidance and support
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of insurance staff
- Manage schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all tasks
- Oversee vendor management, including negotiating contracts and maintaining relationships with insurance providers
- Maintain office management systems, including calendar management and communication protocols
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Handle escalated customer inquiries or complaints, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency

- Experience with bookkeeping and accounting a plus

- Social Media Skills a PLUS!

Requirements:
- Proven experience in insurance management or a related field
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to effectively supervise and train staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office suite and insurance management software
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of insurance industry regulations and best practices

- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping

- Knowledge of AMS360 a plus
